This position offers a unique opportunity to create and implement new development activities and reshape the library’s communications. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field, e.g., public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
Ability to plan, organize, and carry out projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to contribute and work in a team environment.
Ability to interact with others in a courteous and respectful manner.
Working knowledge of desktop publishing and graphics software.
Print publication and web design experience.

Desirable
Annual giving, fund raising, or event planning experience.
Experience in an academic, health care or library environment.
Photography experience.
Publishing or editorial experience.

Salary $50,000 with two years experience; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
