With a $7.5 million operating budget, 160 employees, facilities in Bloomington and Ellettsville, and a strong outreach program, the Library provides a full range of contemporary library services, plus an award-winning literacy program and a five-channel community television network. 

The Communications and Marketing Manager will lead the Library’s comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to support the library’s mission and strategic directions, serve as a member of the administrative team, and work collaboratively with staff across the library to implement the strategy.

The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in a related field and three years of related community relations/communications/marketing experience.  Three years of professional leadership and/or supervisory experience is also required.
