The person in this position must have knowledge of library materials, issues and trends as well as reference and readers advisory, mediates patron complaints, supervises staff in Regional Branch Manager’s absence, prepares schedules, assigns duties, and evaluates performance to ensure quality service, participates in community events and works with community group in order to promote the Library and its initiatives.
This position requires a MLS Degree from an ALA Accredited Library School and 3 years library managerial experience that includes youth services, public libraries and staff supervision.
