Health and Life Sciences Liaison Librarian

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries seeks an innovative, collaborative, user-focused applicant for a Health and Life Sciences Liaison Librarian. Reporting to the Director of Research and Education, responsibilities include: teaching curriculum-integrated instructional sessions at all degree levels; collaborating with teaching faculty to develop course content; participating in assessing student learning; providing discipline-based research and technology assistance through individual and small group consultations and online user support; creating programs and services for UNLV’s health and life sciences community that will advance the research enterprise and foster a climate of scholarly inquiry and student achievement; creating online tools and user guides; helping to shape new directions for development and access to health and life sciences collections; and working in a team environment with a focus on continuously enhancing the user experience. As a tenure-track library faculty member, the incumbent will be expected to work collaboratively with others; engage in scholarly activities; and provide service to the university, the community, and the profession in accordance with Libraries and University standards for promotion and tenure.
