Department of Political Science and the School of Public Policy; to provide
research support to the UC Berkeley community in political science, public
policy, and government information; to develop and promote collections to meet
the university’s teaching and research needs; and to enhance access to and use
of federal and state government information.
The Environment
The UC Berkeley Library is an internationally renowned

comprises 20 campus libraries - including the Doe/Moffitt Libraries, the
Bancroft Library, the C. V. Starr East Asian Library and subject specialty
libraries. With a collection of more than 11 million volumes and a collections
budget of over $15 million, the Library offers extensive collections in all
formats and robust services to connect users with those collections and build
their related research skills.
The Library maintains a research-level collection to

Department of Political Science and the Richard and Rhoda Goldman School of Public
Policy, as well as other related disciplines, interdisciplinary programs, and

position contributes to a variety of reference services, both face-to-face and
