Science & Engineering Librarian (#248)

University of Southern California (USC) is seeking an innovative, service-oriented librarian (#248) for the USC Libraries’ Science and Engineering Library. The librarian will serve the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering by providing collection development and in-person and virtual instruction and reference services. The librarian will establish effective communication within assigned disciplines to advance faculty and students’ learning and research needs. Required: MLS from an ALA-accredited program (or equivalent) and 2 or more years of academic or research library experience. A B.A. in the natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering, and related reference, instruction, collection development, and outreach experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; and strong public service orientation.
