If so, we need you for our Associate Director position for the Douglas County Libraries in Castle Rock, CO (a beautiful suburb just south of Denver and north of Colorado Springs)! The position has responsibility for coordinating and supervising many aspects of community services for the district including planning, coordinating, and evaluating staffing and service delivery; formulating policy and procedure recommendations; developing and managing budgets; training and evaluating staff; and cultivating and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other agencies within the library community and at the local and state level. Responsibilities will also include managing our five Library Branch Managers and our Community Relations Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Our ideal candidate is a creative and articulate professional who enjoys working in a dynamic team-focused environment where change and innovation are constants. You must also have a minimum of 5 years progressively responsible professional public library experience, and at least 4 years employee supervision and management experience. SALARY: Salary range is $67K - $98K + full benefits. Starting salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
