Research Librarian for Mathematics and Physics & Astronomy

The University of California, Irvine Libraries seek a creative, knowledgeable, and user-oriented Research Librarian for Mathematics and Physics & Astronomy to plan and deliver innovative reference and instruction services, and to develop and manage electronic and print collections in mathematics, physics, and astronomy.

The successful candidate for this position will be based in Science Library Reference and jointly supervised by the Head, Reference Department and the Head, Collection Development Department.

The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience; the preferred appointment level is $46,164 - $75,708 (Assistant Librarian I – Librarian II). Consideration will be given to applicants with a wide range of years of experience, including qualified early career librarians.
