The Director of Scholarly Resources and Collection Services has responsibility for leading and administering collection development and collection services, and overseeing scholarly communications at the Western Washington University Libraries. In this highly visible position, the Director provides leadership for the selection and management of collections, including oversight for the resource access budget, cataloging, acquisitions, ILL, circulation, and scholarly communication. Drawing from the expertise and support of faculty and staff throughout the organization, the Director supervises the Institutional Repository and open access publishing.
