Assistant Head of Access Services, University of Georgia
The University of Georgia Libraries seeks an Assistant Head of Access Services Department who will be responsible to the Head of Access Services for managing the internal operations of the Access Services Department. Duties include providing direction, administration, and coordination of the work of staff and student workers in Access Services; acting for the Department Head in his/her absence; assisting to develop, implement, and execute policies, procedures, and initiatives relating to circulation, reserves, shelving, and one offsite repository. Additionally, this position hires, trains, and supervises 4 library support staff. SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary is commensurate with experience. UGA librarians are non-tenured faculty members.
