The University of the Pacific Library seeks a well-qualified professional librarian with energy, initiative, and vision to provide effective leadership and direction in the provision of library resources and services.
Asst Dean of the University Library. Administers library collections, services, programs, and operations to carry out the mission and goals of the Library. Requires record of successful policy and administrative experience. Manages day-to-day operations and facilities, including supervision of departments in conjunction with department coordinators, contributes to library management decisions, long-range planning, program development, budget management, and assessment. Manages a collection budget of more than $1 million. Actively participates in local, regional, national, or international professional organizations. Salary from mid-$80k negotiable.
