Education and Research Librarian

The Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position Education and Research Librarian at the Tompkins-McCaw Library. The VCU Libraries seeks an energetic, knowledgeable, and technologically capable individual who will support the teaching, research, and outreach missions of the VCU Libraries. The successful candidate will join a culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. An ALA-accredited graduate degree is required. Experience teaching to a variety of audience levels, the ability to communicate effectively, and experience searching relevant resources such as PubMed, Web of Science, and CINAHL is preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually. Review of applications will begin April 15, 2010, and will continue until the position is filled.
