USC Libraries is seeking an innovative, service-oriented Public Affairs Librarian (#256) committed to providing reference, instruction, collection development, and outreach in the fields of public affairs, government studies, and associated interdisciplinary social sciences. The Public Affairs Librarian is expected to provide direction and guidance in transitioning from a print government documents collection to primarily digital resources. Requirements: MLS from an ALA-accredited program or non-U.S. equivalent; familiarity with the Federal Depository Library Program; at least two years experience working in an academic or large public library.
