Evanston Public Library Director
The Evanston (IL) Public Library seeks an innovative change agent who thrives on challenges and brings a winning track record and spirit of excellence. The Director will provide the strategic vision and leadership needed to inspire staff and move the Library to the next level with cutting-edge services, programs and technologies. The successful candidate will be a leader who has a strong history of and passion for developing and implementing outreach and connecting the Library with all ethnicities and underserved populations in Evanston.

Requirements and Qualifications
MLS + 10 years including 5 years of Library administration experience.
Experience as a leader with demonstrated management and leadership ability in administration, budgeting, planning, fundraising, board development, advocacy and relationship building. Candidate must have a strong philosophy of customer service, the ability to attract and motivate a talented staff and promote a collaborative atmosphere.

Salary and Benefits
$110,000 + depending on qualifications, plus an excellent benefits package
